WELCOME TO AARKIM PLASTICS LIMITED
Aarkim Plastics Ltd was formed in 1992 by Mike Chubb. After many
years in the Acrylic Sheet selling business with Cadillac Plastics
and Semi-Plastics, a Company part owned by Mike, he decided it
was time to move on and see what he could achieve in the relatively
new field of Acrylic Fabrication.With the North Shore being his home, Mike set-up a small business in Glenfield with a staff of two. In 1993 APL moved around the corner to Ashfield Street which has been our home ever since. Tom Chandler the ex General Manager of Cadillac NZ Ltd, joined APL in 1997 bringing with him a vast knowledge in Acrylic Sheet that has helped established us as a market leader in the Acrylic Fabrication field. With our wealth of experience APL is in a position to help you achieve the product that best suits your requirements. Trevor Shoebridge who runs Paak 2003 Ltd, our CNC Contract Cutting and Vacuum Forming side of the business has been involved in the industry for a great many years. Trevor's experience and knowledge is a well sought after commodity taking him, before joining us, to such places as Australia and America to help solve their Vacuum Forming problems. Our Vacuum Former is capable of achieving most things that are required in the Plastics Industry. Our two CNC Routers are state of the art machines that among other things can cut materials including MDF Board for Slatwall, Acrylic Sheet etc. With a combined total of over 100 years in the Plastics Industry if we can't do it then it can't be done! |
